Movicol sachets contain macrogol 3350 with electrolytes. Macrogol holds water in the bowel, softening stools and relieving constipation without causing cramps.
Directions for use:
Adults and children 12 years and over (constipation): dissolve 1 sachet in 125 ml (about half a glass) of water and drink. Take 1 to 3 sachets a day in divided doses as needed. A course of treatment does not normally exceed 2 weeks without a doctor's advice. Higher doses for faecal impaction should only be used under medical supervision.
