Claritine syrup contains loratadine 1 mg per ml (5 mg in 5 ml), a non-drowsy antihistamine for hay fever, allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy eyes) and hives.
Directions for use:
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml once a day.
Children 2 to 12 years weighing more than 30 kg: 10 ml once a day.
Children 2 to 12 years weighing 30 kg or less: 5 ml once a day.
Not for children under 2 unless prescribed. Ask a doctor first if you have liver problems.
